Around the Valley - Highlights

Happy Valley features some amazing trails, parks, green spaces and natural areas.  Below are some highlighted locations.  Another great resource is Happy Valley Parks and Recreation.  Check out the site here:

Happy Valley Park

Happy Valley's most popular park, featuring almost 60 acres of sports fields, walking trails, play structures, a splash pad, skate park, and covered/uncovered picnic areas.  A boardwalk winds through the 24 acres of wetlands.

Hidden Falls

Wonderful 21 acre nature park, featuring Happy Valley's very own waterfall and wooden bridge.  Almost a mile of paved trails, a viewing area and picnic tables are on site.

Mt. Talbert

224 acres of wooded oasis, with over 4 miles of trails, covered picnic areas, ample parking and restrooms. (No dogs)

Scouters Mountain

100+ acre nature park at the old boy scout camp.  Miles of trails in the park and the surrounding area, a covered picnic area, restrooms and big views of Mt. Hood. (No dogs)

Scott Creek Trail

Located at 129th and Scott Creek Lane, SCT is a paved and boardwalk trail that winds a mile through towering fir trees along Scott Creek.  This is a scenic, easily accessible trail that connects all the way down to Southern Lites Park.
